Procedures for Members Participating in Day Trips and Social Events:

Sign up :  Day trips and social events are for resident owner adults only (21 years or older).  Upon enrolling for a day trip, your signature acknowledges you are familiar with the refund policy and accept the waiver of conditions for insurance purposes.  The member has two methods to make a reservation.  (1)  Return the signed cut out form by MAIL that is printed at the bottom of the trip flyer, enclosed with payment BY CHECK ONLY to the day trip coordinator listed on the form.  Reservations are on a first-come-first- serve basis.  (2)  Sign up at the membership meeting in person with CHECK payment at that time.  Payment confirms your reservation position for the day trip. Questions regarding the day trip should be directed to the trip coordinator listed on the flyer.  Within 30 days of a trip, members may sign up non-members within the approved manner.
Payment:   Issue a check payable to the LSV/NEV Group, and not to an individual. Group coordinator can make exception of payment and sign up procedure within seven (7) days of day trip.   There are no refunds.
Cancellations:   If you have to cancel, it is your responsibility to call the Group Coordinator of the trip, and a substitute member will be sought to take your place if there is a wait list. 
Wait List :  When the trip registration is full, you can be placed on a Wait List.  Upon receiving a cancellation, the trip coordinator calls those listed to see if they still wish to take the trip.  If so, a name is given to the cancelled party and it is their responsibility to make arrangements between the two parties for payment from the member listed on the wait list.  If there is no one on the wait list that is free to go, the LSV/NEV member is free to make independent arrangements with a member or friends to assume their reservation.  YOU MUST LET US KNOW THE NAMES OF YOUR REPLACEMENT.  This information is important so that we will call the new name/s before boarding the bus.  They will also sign an insurance waiver at that time. 
A cancelled Day Trip :  Should we find this necessary to do because of lack of interest, enrollees will be notified in advance and given the choice of return of their check payment made, or tearing up their check.  The trip coordinator has the authority and discretion to make the decision to cancel the trip when not meeting the needed attendance for the bus transportation and group size at a venue.
